GITAM Hosts Successful 'Pramana2024' TechnoCultural Fest
The event showcased the diverse talents and skills of university students in various fields and received an enthusiastic response.
The inauguration of Pramana 2024 was attended by honorable chief guest Upasana Kamineni Konidela and J. Vamsi Krishna, Joint Managing Director of Visaka Industries, who was the guest of honor.
They opened the student festival and motivated the participants to strive for outstanding results, regardless of gender.
The chief guest highlighted the importance of preparation to be the best, while the chief guest highlighted the limitless possibilities available to people and encouraged the participants to continually explore their passions.
Over the three days, the festival offered a variety of activities testing the talents and skills of students. Activities included a scavenger hunt, Raw N Real, Threeory dance competition, dance workshop, company day, car show and battle of the bands. Workshops, competitions and cultural events like singing, ramp walking and dancing allowed students to showcase their hidden talents.
Artist Showcase Round featured Ram Miriyala and Saiti Chaganti who captivated the audience with their renditions of the latest songs from the film. Sanjeev Deshpande, Regional Director, Asia Pacific, responsible for NTT DATA Business Solutions in the region, presented thank you letters to the winners on the second day.
The festival concluded with an exciting evening of EDM/DJ featuring Project 91 and Nina Suerta, bringing everyone together on a musical journey to a new dimension.
Pramana 2024 also served as a platform for students from Greater Hyderabad to participate in formal and informal competitive events for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The success of Pramana 2024 is due to the advice and support provided by Prof. DS Rao, Pro VC, DVVSR Varma, Resident Director, Dr. P. Trinada Rao, Faculty Advisor and Geo Cyril Podipara, Coordinator of staff, faculty and student central committee who supervised the festival and ensured its smooth conduct.
