Introduction and specifications
While the Redmi sub-brand is now focusing on mid-range offerings, it hasn't abandoned entry-level series like the Redmi digital series. Redmi 12 is the company's cheapest phone this year and is the successor to the Redmi 10 from 2021. This is because the Redmi 11 was not available last year for some reason, which is probably due to phone sales and stock buildup.

The new Redmi 12 has a larger 6.79-inch screen, which is one of the largest in its class, and the storage capacity increases to 128 GB in the basic version. That's twice the price of the Redmi 10.
