Redmi K60 Ultra Boasts Up To 24GB RAM & 1TB Storage; Check Out The Details!
Alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, the Chinese company has also launched the new Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone in China. It is the latest device available under the Redmi K60 series and packs high-end specs including a 6.67-inch OLED display, Dimensity 9200+ SoC, up to 24GB RAM, and more. The Redmi K60 Ultra (or Extreme Edition in China) has a 6.67-inch 1.5K 12-bit CSOT C7 POLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, and a brightness maximum of 2600 nits at 2-880 Wm. :) Also, the panel is Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ certified and has a custom display chip called Pixelworks X7. This smartphone is only 8.49 mm thick and weighs just 209 grams.
Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek Dimension 9200+ chipset and Immortalis G715 MC11 GPU. The device has up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage in the latest variant. To keep it fresh it features a 5000mm square steam chamber.
In the camera department, the device will offer a triple camera system with a primary 50MP Sony IMX 800 sensor (similar to the Mix Fold 3) with OIS support. The other two cameras on offer are an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front is a 16MP punch-hole selfie camera.
Under the hood is a 5000mAh battery which allows the Redmi K60 Ultra to run all day long. And when you run out of charge, you can use the dedicated 120W fast charger, which also supports PD 2.0 and PD 3.0 charging. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6. Furthermore, it offers an X-axis linear motor, dual stereo speakers and an IR blaster. The Redmi K60 Ultra is also IP68 water and dust resistant and runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Price and availability
The Redmi K60 Extreme Edition starts at CNY 2,599 (~Rs. 29,900) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant, rising to CNY 3,599 (~Rs. 41,200) for the top 24GB + 1TB variant. Check out the different device configurations below.

The Redmi K60 Ultra will be available in three color options: Ink Feather, Shadow Green and Clear Snow. Currently, the device is only available in China and will go on sale from August 22nd. There is no official word yet on its global and India release, so stay tuned for more updates.
