Redmi K70 Spotted On Geekbench With MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Chipset Ahead Of Official Launch

Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi K70 series in China, which includes three expected devices: Redmi K70e, Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro. Recently, official leaked versions of the stock Redmi K70 appeared online. Today, the MySmartPrice team discovered a device with model number 2311DRK48C in the Geekbench database. However, the codename suggests that it could also be the Redmi K70e.

The alleged Redmi K70 scored 1248 in the single-core test and 4177 in the multi-core test. The listing reveals Android 14, 15GB of RAM, 3.35GHz CPU and Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, which could hint at the upcoming Dimension 8300 chipset.

POCO F6 or Redmi K70?

A POCO device with model number 2311DRK481 recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, marking its debut in India as POCO F6. Interestingly, it matches the model number 2311DRK48C of the Redmi K70. POCO F6 is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2024.

Referring to Redmi's previous strategy of launching the base model Redmi K60 in India as the POCO F5 Pro, there are speculations that two variants of the Redmi K70, K70 and K70E, could be launched globally under the POCO brand. However, the Redmi K70 Pro is expected to be available exclusively in the Chinese market.

The POCO F6, identified with model number 2311DRK48I, was previously registered in the IMEI database. Additionally, POCO F6 Pro was released with model numbers 23113RKC6G and 23113RKC6I.

Caution is advised with initial certification as it only provides limited information about your smartphone. We are waiting for official confirmation to provide more accurate and complete information.
