Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G Set To Debut At MWC 2024 With Dolby Atmos Support
It has been confirmed that the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona at the end of February. The phone will be launched as the first smartphone in the Pova 6 series and will be the first Tecno phone to support Dolby Atmos surround sound. Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G succeeds last year's Tecno Pova 5 Pro. The latter is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and offers support for 68W fast charging. It has a dual rear camera setup with a 120Hz refresh rate display and a 50MP primary sensor.
In a press release on Monday (January 29), Tecno announced that the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will debut at MWC 2024 in Barcelona. The event will take place from February 26th to 29th. The latest smartphone from the Pova series, a subsidiary of Transition Holdings, has received support for Dolby Atmos for the first time.
The press release states that Techno has collaborated with Dolby Laboratories to bring Dolby Atmos support to the Pova 6 series of smartphones. Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will be launched as the successor to Tecno Pova 5 Pro. The latter was launched in August last year at a price of Rs. 14,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
