Redmi A3 Flipkart Availability Confirmed; Key Specifications Teased Ahead Of February 14 Launch
Redmi A3 will officially launch in India on February 14. Ahead of the official launch, sub-brand Xiaomi has confirmed that the upcoming phone will be sold in the country via Flipkart. The e-commerce site has created a separate microsite to showcase the key features of the Redmi A3. Confirmed to feature a 90Hz refresh rate display, the Redmi A3 is backed by a 5000mAh battery. The phone is expected to launch as a budget offering.
Both Flipkart and Mi India have created dedicated microsites on their websites to tease the arrival of the Redmi A3. According to the specifications, the phone has a new "halo-design" with a large round rear camera module. It is shown in green color and is confirmed to have a 90Hz refresh rate display and a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone has 6 GB of RAM and supports 6 GB of virtual RAM.
Redmi A3 will launch in India on February 14. The price of the phone is Rs. 7000 and 9000 Birr.
The Redmi A3 is expected to sport a 6.71-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz touch rate and be powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. It is expected to sport a 13-megapixel AI-powered dual rear camera setup. It may have an 8-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Redmi A3 will be launched as the successor to last year's Redmi A2. The latter was launched at a starting price of Rs. 5,999 for the base 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The 2GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 6,499, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 7,499.
