Elliptic Labs Launching On Transsions Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus Smartphone
OSLO, Norway, January 26, 2024 --(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elliptic Labs (OR: ELABS), a global AI software company and world leader in AI Virtual Smart Sensors™, currently in over 500 million devices , has launched a new version of AI Virtual Proximity Sensor™ INNER BEAUTY ® from Transsion, the world's fifth largest smartphone manufacturer, on the new Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ smartphone. Launched for the global market, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ smartphone is powered by MediaTek's Helio G99 Ultimate chipset developed by Elliptic Labs partner MediaTek. This initial deal was previously announced by Elliptic Labs.

AI Virtual Proximity Indicator INNER BEAUTY
Elliptic Labs' artificial virtual proximity sensor detects when a user holds the phone to their ear during a call, allowing the smartphone to turn off the screen and disable the touchscreen feature. This prevents the user's ear or face from causing unwanted actions such as hanging up or ringing during a call. Turning off the screen also helps extend battery life.
Proximity detection is a basic feature used in all smartphones.
