Belvedere House Gardens and Park, County Westmeath
For fans of techno, house, electronica and dance in general, this year's Festival of Life in Mullingar, County Westmeath will be an absolute must.
The line-up will include legendary British DJ Carl Cox as well as Irish artists and DJs Belters Only, Sunil Sharp and more.

Wild Roots, June 2-4
Lough Gill, Sligo
Wild Roots will return for another Irish music festival in 2023.
This year's lineup includes mainstays Rudimental and plenty of nostalgic acts like Mauro Picotto, Inspiral Carpets and The Zutons.
Also scheduled are several new Irish musical performances from Pillow Queens, Ailbhe Reddy and Daithi.

Forbidden Fruit, June 3-4, 2023
Royal Infirmary, Kilmainham, County Dublin
Perfect for those who aren't quite ready for rock music, Forbidden Fruit offers two full days of music without camp.
This year's line-up includes Swedish dance pioneer Erik Pryz, UK rappers Central C and Slotaytay and global pop star Rina Sawayama as headliners.
But be careful. This usually sells out in advance, so pack your skates if you're going.

Body and Soul Festival, June 16-18, 2023
Ballinlow Castle Estate, County Westmeath
Boasting the most relaxed atmosphere of any camping festival, it's always a real treat for body and soul.
This year features one of Ireland's strongest musical line-ups ever, including some of Ireland's hottest acts from Kojak, Sorcha Richardson, Aoife Nessa Francis, Murder Capital, Denise Chyla, Kneecap, Thumper and more.
Moderat DJ and remixer The Blessed Madonna will be joined by former War on Drugs guitarist Kurt Vile & The Violators and indie singer Beth Orton.

Now in its second edition, Beyond the Pale is perfectly accessible to Dubliners or out-of-towners visiting the city.
This year's eclectic lineup for the three-day camping trip includes Hot Chip, Thundercat, John Hopkins and Grafield with the legendary Grace Jones.

After last year's success, the Kaleidoscope Family Music Festival will return in 2023.

Longitude has long been one of Ireland's smallest festival demographics for fans of hip-hop, pop and rap.
If you're a fan of today's chart-topping music, her star power is nothing to brag about year after year.
This year's non-camp festival will welcome the likes of Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert and MK to the stage, while superstar DJ Calvin Harris will host his first Irish show in a decade.

Another music and arts festival, July 7-9
Rock Farm, Slane, County Meath
A lesser-known gem, Otherside is a small boutique camping festival boasting three days of “magic, regret and connection”.
This year's musical headliners are Bombay Bicycle Club, SBRKT and the much-loved CMAT, the only act at this year's Irish festival.
There will be comedy shows, spa treatments, delicious food and drinks and more.

All Together, August 4-6, 2023
Caraghmore Estate, County Waterford
One of our personal favourites, All Together Now, falls in the sweet spot between the big, 'in' festivals and always has a star-studded line-up.
This year features Iggy Pop, Jamie X, Caribou, Jessie Ware and the upcoming Sugababes, along with many well-known Irish names like Lankum, Saint Sister, Talos and Scratch.

Independence Day, August 4-6, 2023
Mitchelstown, County Cork
Cork's premier music festival, Freedom, has a loyal following that returns year after year.
This year's three-day camping event will feature The Coronas on Friday, British pop star Anne-Marie on Saturday and Two Door Cinema Club on Sunday.
They will also be joined by UK DJ Jax Jones, Irish dance acts King Kong Company and Belters Only, and indie rockers Inhaler.

Even Electric Picnic tickets sold out within hours this year.
2023 Billie Eilish, Lewis Capaldi and chart-toppers The Killers, with a cast including Fred Guinn, Jamie X, Tom Odell and Ireland's Niall Horan.
They'll be joined by Internet R&B artist Steve Lacy, UK art rockers IDLES, '80s phenomenon Rick Astley and Aussie punk band Amyl & The Sniffers, with more acts to be announced.
