Google didn't announce any other changes
There are many changes in this release that Google hasn't publicly announced, but are available in Android 14 QPR 2 beta.
New popup dialog for Bluetooth Quick Settings tile
(Private) Bluetooth Quick Settings tiles provided by the Google News Telegram channel now work as Wi-Fi tiles. Tapping the tile doesn't directly change Bluetooth, but a new submenu will open that lists connected devices and lets you change the connection.
Although this eliminates the ability to switch Bluetooth at once, it is more common for most users to connect and disconnect several devices than to switch Bluetooth altogether.
New "See all apps" setting.
As spotted by Mishal Rahman, the new update is set to add a new "Dark All Apps" button under Settings > Accessibility > Color & Motion.
This setting was previously available in developer options and changes the color of apps that don't support the dark theme.
The taskbar pinning feature is coming soon with a new demo animation added
Google introduced a taskbar in Android 12L that provides quick access to certain apps on any screen on a tablet or larger foldable device. This taskbar functionality was expanded to include your app drawer in Android 13, but its status changed from a permanent taskbar to a floating temporary taskbar.
As Mishal mentioned, Google is still working on allowing users to switch between the mobile taskbar and the fixed taskbar.
Looks like the taskbar pinning feature I saw in June is coming soon! This feature allows you to switch between a floating "temporary" taskbar and a "fixed" taskbar.
Airlock screen clock style now shows Alarm and DND icons
The Google Pixel phone's weather lock screen has a vertical date and other unusual styling elements, but lacks alarm and DND information.
This update adds convenient icons for upcoming alerts and Do Not Disturb, according to the (unofficial) Google News Telegram channel.
We expect more features to appear as fans spend more time with the update.
