Vivo S18 Images Leak Online Ahead Of December 14 Launch; Suggests AuraLED Lights, New Colours
The Vivo S18 series will go on sale in China on December 14th. Continuing the Vivo S17 series launched in May this year, the series is confirmed to be available in three models: the flagship Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro and Vivo S18e. The company introduced the design and color options of the upcoming phones and revealed some important details about each phone. Now more images of the phones have surfaced online, hinting at new color options.
A Gizmochina report has shared images of the Vivo S18 series in new color options. Vivo also recently revealed the design and color options of the phones. However, newly leaked images show the phones in black and gray with a floral pattern on the back. The Aura LED flash, which is placed below the camera module, is visible in the images.
The model is not described in more detail in the report, but it is assumed that it is the Vivo S18 Pro. On the official microsite of the upcoming phones, the Vivo S18 base has been launched in Black, Green and Purple color options while the Vivo S18 Pro has been launched in Green and Purple color options. The green and purple variants of the base model featured floral patterns on the back, while the dark variant appeared in black without a pattern.
According to 91Mobiles, these images were posted on the company's official Weibo profile. However, at the time of writing, no images were found on the Vivo page of the microblogging site. However, the images were spread on the Internet. Twitter user Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) shared the images in question.
Previously, the company confirmed the launch date of the Vivo S18 series and also revealed some key features of the upcoming products. The base Vivo S18 will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 5000mAh battery, while the Pro model will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. Meanwhile, the Vivo S18e is powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 80W wireless fast charging.
Jia Jingdong, president of Vivo China, confirmed that the Vivo S18 Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony VCS Bionic IMX920 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), another 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor for ultra-wide and will have a 12-megapixel sensor.
