Vivo X100 and starts
Vivo has confirmed that the X100 series will be available in India, Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The European market will only receive the X100 Pro, and we're guessing the phone won't be available in Germany due to a legal dispute with Nokia.
The Chinese brand did not confirm pricing in India or Europe, but said the X100 will retail for HK$5,998 (~$768). Meanwhile, the X100 Pro costs HK$7,998 (~$1,024). As for pricing, the Pro and Pro Plus models previously retailed for €1,300 (~$1,424) in Europe, so don't be surprised to see the X100 Pro hit that figure.

The two phones share some common features like Dimensity 9300 chipset, 6.78-inch LTPO OLED panel and IP68 rating. Vivo X100 Pro features a 5400mAh battery with 100W wired/50W wireless charging and a flexible triple rear camera setup. The cameras are a 50MP one-inch IMX989 sensor, a 50MP 4.1x periscope camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
The X100 Pro also features Cinema Portrait Mode, which could be a true rival to the iPhone's original Cinema Mode. However, this mode has the ability to automatically switch focus between subjects, unlike the portrait video mode currently available on Android. Vivo also offers a sun mode that allows you to capture (effect) the sun with the periscope camera.
Meanwhile, the standard X100 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging (no wireless extras here) and a slightly smaller triple camera setup. The rear includes a 50MP IMX920 primary camera, a 64MP 3x telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
Either way, Vivo is wasting no time in bringing this phone to the global market. Between the OnePlus 12, Galaxy S24 and Xiaomi 14 series, there will be no shortage of quality flagship phones in early 2024.
