Inspiring challenges strengthen startups

In addition to green initiatives in product design, manufacturing and global operations, OPPO also works with ecosystem partners to support innovators who are committed to green technologies.

The OPPO Inspiration Challenge, an innovation accelerator launched in 2022 by the OPPO Research Institute, annually attracts the best technology innovations from global professionals and entrepreneurs. This year, the company launched a new category called "Inspiration for the Planet", dedicated to environmentally friendly technologies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the production or use of electronic products.

Among these eco-friendly technologies, Bluepha, a biotech startup, is developing natural, biodegradable organic polymers to replace the use of plastic for packaging and other scenarios.
