Oppo Find X7, Find X7 Ultra Launch Date Confirmed; Design, Colour Options Revealed
Oppo Find X7 series release date revealed. The lineup is expected to include the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. The company announced the launch date of the series in China, and also revealed the design and color options of the models. The RAM and storage configurations of the phones have also been confirmed. Oppo has also opened bookings for the smartphone in China. The offer was expected to include a satellite variant of the Find X7 Ultra, but the company has yet to confirm its availability.
The company announced that the Oppo Find X7 series will launch globally on January 8 at 2:30 PM Beijing Time (12:00 PM IST). The promotional video for the upcoming product line shows the design of two smartphones: Oppo Find X7 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra. Both models are available for pre-order in China ahead of launch. The phone listings on the official website also include color and memory configuration options.
The new Oppo Find X7 is confirmed to be available in four color options: Desert Silver Moon, Smokey Purple, Starry Sky Black and Big Sea and Sky (Blue) (translated from Chinese). The black and purple color options are available with a glass back, while the other two models come with synthetic leather and a glass top. The Find X7 will be available in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants.
Options for the Oppo Find All Ultra include a partial leather and glass back. The phone is listed in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB storage variants.
Both Oppo Find X7 models have a large circular camera module located at the top center on the back. They have curved screens with a hole at the top to accommodate the front camera. The volume and power buttons are on the right side of the phone, while on the left edge is an alert slider, which is usually found on OnePlus phones.
The base model of the Oppo Find variant may have a 6.82K resolution display with a resolution of 2K per inch. Both phones are said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Find is a 64MP Omnivision OV64B camera with 3x zoom and OIS support. Meanwhile, the Find by OIS features a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP IMX858 sensor with OIS support and a telephoto lens with 6x optical zoom.
