Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro Camera Specifications Surface Online Ahead Of Launch

Ahead of the planned launch of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro in China, more information about the cameras on these flagship phones has leaked. Vivo is expected to announce two Vivo X100 series models at the event held in China, but it is not yet clear whether the third Vivo X100+ model will be present at the launch. Recently there have been a lot of rumors about Vivo X100 and X100 Pro models. The new leak highlights the differences in camera design and hardware.

According to tipster Ishaan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the design of the camera modules on both the upcoming smartphones will be slightly different. The attached image shows the slight aesthetic difference between the Vivo X100's camera setup and the Vivo Perfect. The layout of the Vivo X100 Pro also seems to be slightly taller than the Vivo X100. The volume and power buttons on the Vivo X100 Pro have also been moved slightly higher.

The source claims that the Vivo X100 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and f/1.75 aperture. The phone is also said to have a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.0 aperture and a periscope telephoto lens with optical image stabilization and f/2.5 aperture. The telephoto lens is said to have 4.3x zoom.

In comparison, the Vivo X100's camera looks completely different. As for the tip, the main camera is a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, but it has a bright f / 1.6 aperture. The ultra-wide camera is said to be the same as the more expensive model. The telephoto lens is a 64-megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. But in terms of range, it is said to be limited to 3x zoom.

According to previous leaks, the Vivo X100 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and is expected to ship to China with Android 14 based OriginOS 4 operating system.

The Vivo X100 Pro is expected to have the same specifications as the Vivo X100 in terms of core hardware and is expected to feature the same processor. The Vivo X100 Pro+ is said to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
