Redmi K70E is on the horizon and is expected to debut in China as the successor to the popular Redmi K60E. Following the trend of its predecessor, the Redmi K70 series is expected to offer three models namely Redmi K70E, Redmi K70 and K70 Pro. Previous reports indicated a launch later this year, possibly in November.

Redmi excitingly confirmed the key specifications of the Redmi K70E on Weibo. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, which boasts an impressive AnTuTu score of 1,526,328 points. In the endurance test, the phone maintained an impressive average of 58.86 frames per second (FPS) after an hour of 'open world' use at 25 degrees Celsius.

The Redmi K70E will have a 1.5K display, with a brightness of up to 1,800 nits and a high-frequency PWM dimming rate of 1,920 Hz, and Xiaomi HyperOS will be the software that drives the user experience. Adding to its appeal, the smartphone has a slim 8.05mm thickness and a unified aesthetic design, consistent across the entire Redmi K70 range.

Under the hood, the Redmi K70E is equipped with a powerful 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, and leaked information points to its launch in November which excites tech enthusiasts.

The leaked hands-on videos offer an insight into the design and specifications of the Redmi K70E. The front panel has thin side and top bezels, a slightly wider chin and a flat screen. The central frame adopts a flat design, displaying a consistent aesthetic across the entire Redmi K70 series.

Camera specifications

The device will have a 64-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is said to have a 16-megapixel sensor.
