HyperOS: These Xiaomi, POCO And Redmi Smartphones Will Be Getting An Update; When Will The OS Debut?

A few weeks ago, Xiaomi confirmed HyperOS, its new operating system that will replace MIUI . After a short wait you will find more information about this version and which Xiaomi, POCO and Redmi devices to benefit from it .

On the other hand, there is already a release window for the new Android-based operating system. First, it will debut in a specific region this year and then expand to the rest of the world. We will share all the details with you below.

When will HyperOS be available?

According to official information, the new operating system will have two release phases. The first will run from December 2023 to January 2024. During this period, HyperOS will be released via an update reserved for Chinese users.

So when will it be released worldwide? It is known that global distribution will begin in the first quarter of 2024. This means that it will arrive between January and March of next year. There is no timetable yet with approximate dates by region, but we do know that it will be staggered for compatible devices.

On which devices will HyperOS be available for download?

A leaked list of devices considered compatible with the operating system surfaced some time ago. Now, Xiaomi has already released the official preliminary list. This tells us that some devices come pre-installed with HyperOS by default.

This applies, among others, to devices from the Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi Watch S3 smartwatch and the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85″ MiniLED. Below is a list of all compatible devices confirmed so far:
