Galaxy S24 release dates leaked.
At the next "Galaxy Unpacked" event, Samsung should introduce the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra. Instead of using it before MWC in previous years, the latest leaked timeline shows that Samsung opted for the first option:
"A new report by Korean publication The Elect (via Sam Mobile) claims that Samsung's next flagship will be unveiled on January 17, 2024, and a number of devices will be up for pre-order tomorrow. It will also host a Galaxy Unpacked event. San Jose, California." "The thought process behind the earlier launch date is to improve sales in the first half of next year, the report says, and it's no surprise that Samsung is showing off the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra ahead of the launch."

Instagram and Samsung
Samsung may have shut down the hardware of the Galaxy S24 family, but the software will (and will) work until it launches. Details of the changes are now being released, and among the interesting changes is the addition of a third-party app, Instagram, to the lock screen:
"The addition of the lock screen is a small detail, but it helps to understand the future vision of the company. Samsung's One UI program has only one or two apps that can be displayed on the lock screen for system apps. The exceptions are this list "This is great for a South Korean company is a decision".
Google has addressed concerns about "ripples" appearing on some Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones. The components below the screen are pressed behind the display units, which can cause visible distortion in certain viewing conditions. lightning According to a Google spokesperson, this should not affect the use of the phone:
"Pixel 8 phones have a new display. When the display is off and not in use, and in certain lighting conditions, some users may see component prints that appear as small bumps on the device. There is no practical impact on Pixel 8 performance or durability."

Sunset over the sunbird
Last week there was a lot of interest in Sunbird, the messaging app and protocol that allows Android users to connect to Apple's iMessage service through virtual servers like Macs. The phone maker doesn't plan to use Sunbird in its new messaging app. After that, downloads are blocked and the use of the application is temporarily suspended. The service was shut down this week due to growing security concerns about the service:
"Good evening. We are investigating security issues raised over the past 24 hours. Out of an abundance of caution and to protect your confidential information, we have temporarily shut down Sunbird Media. We will keep you posted. Thank you and we apologize for any inconvenience."

Incidentally, Apple has announced that its messaging service will support RCS in the future.

Fast, powerful, straight, everything for the game.
Nubia's latest gaming smartphone Redmagic 9 Pro has been confirmed to use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system on chip. There's a bigger cooler, active cooling, and a new R2 coprocessor. But it was the prospect of a flat roof that caught the attention of many.
"Cameras hidden under that glass include a 50MP ultra-wide-angle dual camera. Next to it is a smaller 2MP macro lens. On the other hand, on the same flat side, the 9 Pro and Pro Plus have 6.8-inch. FHD+ screens." It shares the same specs as the 8S Pro's display, except this "fifth-generation" UDC panel features BOE Q9+ technology, with a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits.

Fame is ready to go public.
Chinese smartphone maker Honor has seen good growth since its acquisition of Huawei. It is now preparing to go public to continue its growth in several key markets, including China and Europe.
"To achieve the new strategic goals, HONOR will continue to increase its shareholding structure, raise diverse capital and access the capital market through an IPO. And finally...
Google continues to update the UI model on Android smartphones with a new profile page design and a new Messages app like the chat bar at the bottom of the screen:
"All of these recent changes to Google Messages clearly show that Google is working hard to make Messages a strength of RCS as an instant messaging platform. These UI changes are hidden behind labels and can be revealed to beta testers at any time.". saying. he said
