IQOO 12 India Launch Date Revealed: The First Smartphone With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

iQOO is hard at work on its upcoming flagship, the iQOO 12, and some interesting details have come to light. The device is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup with an impressive 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H sensor. Note that there are speculations that the phone may come with 200W fast charging support.

iQOO 12 launch date in India recently surfaced online. Notably, this device will be the first device in India to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is expected to launch later this year, in late November or early December.

This presentation is closely related to the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit scheduled for October 24, where the official presentation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will take place. The loudest presentations from brands like Samsung and OnePlus are scheduled for next year. The smartphone could possibly go on sale. Be the first device in India to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Digital Chat Station previously revealed the camera specifications of the iQOO 12. The device will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H sensor. The second camera is expected to be a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens equipped with an ISOCELL JN1 sensor, while the third camera is expected to have a 64-megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom.

Additionally, previous DCS reports said that the iQOO 12 could feature an incredible 200W fast charging power. It was also mentioned that the device can be equipped with a powerful battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Additionally, the device is said to come with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that will allow users to unlock their phone even with wet or wet fingers.

iQOO is following an aggressive pricing strategy in India and since the new device will come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset based on 3nm technology, it could potentially cost around ₹75,000. The iQOO 12 series is expected to consist of two variants – iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro.
