Elon Musk And Grimes Secretly Welcomed Third Baby, A Son Named Techno Mechanicus, New Biography Claims
A new biography about the Tesla CEO's life, written by journalist Walter Eason, will be published on September 12th.
Elon Musk and Grimes have secretly welcomed their third child, according to a new biography of the Tesla CEO.
Musk, 52, and Grimes, 35, whose real name is Claire Boucher, welcomed their third child, according to a Sept. 12 New York Times review of journalist Walter Isaacson's biography of Musk. A son named Techno Mechanicus, also known as "Tau".
It's unclear whether the upcoming biography of the SpaceX founder will include more details about the child, including where he was born.
Representatives for Musk and Grimes did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

On May 4, 2020, Musk and Grimes had a son, X Æ A-12, later named X Æ A-Xii and nicknamed "X".
They then welcomed a daughter, Exa Dirk Seidel, nicknamed "Y" in December 2021, three months after their public split after three years of marriage.
In a March 2022 interview with Vanity Fair about the birth of Ax Dark, Grimes admitted that the former couple wanted more children, telling the publication, "We've always wanted at least three or four."
But the same day the article was published, the "Genesis" singer tweeted that the couple had broken up again.

In addition to the three children he shares with Grimes, Musk has six children with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson.
Musk's first son, Nevada Alexander, was born to Wilson in 2002 but died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at ten weeks old.
The former couple later welcomed twins Vivian Jenna Wilson and Griffin. According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, one of the Kasturi twins, now 18, legally requested a name and gender change, saying she no longer wanted to be related to her father.
Wilson then gave birth to triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian in 2006, two years after giving birth to twins.
Later in November 2021, Musk secretly welcomed another pair of twins, Siobhan Gillies, son Strider and daughter Azure, according to court documents released by Insider on July 6. The twins were born in Austin, Texas, just weeks before she and Grimes gave birth to their daughter.

Grimes opened up about co-parenting with Musk in an interview with Wired last month, saying they are in the process of deciding what their children's educational paths will be.
“A good relationship with my children is very important to me. I think I understand how to be a good parent to them. And being disciplined and also being his friend,” he said. "Who knows, maybe they'll be offended by me and leave the family culture, but I don't think so."
