Vivo Y36, Vivo Y02t Get Price Drop In India Months After Official Launch

Vivo Y36 was launched in India in June this year with one RAM and storage configuration. The smartphone cost Rs. 16,999 domestically for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, Vivo Y02t debuted in May 2023 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. A few months after the launch, Vivo announced price cuts for both smartphones. While Vivo Y36 is equipped with Snapdragon 680 chipset, Vivo Y02T is equipped with MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Vivo announced a price cut of Rs. 1000 Live Y36. The smartphone was launched at a price of Rs. 16,999 will now be available at Rs. 15,999 for a Single configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. Apart from this, Vivo is also offering an additional discount of Rs. $1,000 towards purchases using select ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, OneCard, IDFC Bank, Federal Bank, Yes Bank, Bank of Baroda, and IndusInd Bank EMI credit cards. This makes the actual price Rs. 14999. But the additional discount is only valid until September 30th.

On the other hand, the price of Vivo Y02t has been reduced by Rs. 500, bringing its price down to Rs. Compared to the starting price of AMD 9499. 9999 for the only model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. However, there are no additional bank offers to purchase this smartphone.

Vivo Y36 and Vivo Y02t are available for purchase on Amazon India as well as Vivo's online store. Recall that the smartphones are running the Funtouch OS 13 operating system, which is based on Android 13 and contains a 5000 mAh battery.

The Vivo Y36 features a 6.64-inch HD LCD display and is powered by a 6nm Snapdragon 680 SoC which is an octa-core processor. In terms of optics, it has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor and a 16MP selfie camera. On the other hand, the Vivo Y02t features a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display, a single 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP selfie camera.
