There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Redmi Note 13 series as it is scheduled to launch in China on September 21. The series is expected to include three models: Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+. Some basic details are already available via listings and testimonials.

Redmi Note 13 Series BIS List

Two Redmi smartphones with model numbers 2312DRAABI and 2312FRAFDI have appeared in the BIS certification list – a mandatory step for phones launched in India. These models are expected to be compatible with the Redmi Note 13 5G and Note 13 4G variants. Although the BIS listing does not reveal its features or specifications, it strongly indicates an upcoming launch of the Redmi Note 13 series in India.

The Redmi Note 13 series is expected to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victos protection. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC paired with a Mali-G610 GPU.

When it comes to memory and storage, expect a variety of configurations ranging from 6GB to 12GB of RAM and 128GB to 1TB of internal storage. The devices should run MIUI 13 software based on Android 13 out of the box.

The Pro+ model's 200-megapixel main camera is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There should be a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and video calls.

In terms of battery, the Redmi Note 13 series is expected to feature a 5,120mAh battery with 67W fast charging for the Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro. The Pro+ model has a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery, but with support for 120W fast charging.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is the first Note series smartphone to receive an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Additionally, it incorporates Wet Hand technology to enable efficient operation in wet conditions.

Redmi Note 13 Series Pricing Details

Although the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has already appeared on a Geekbench listing, pricing details of the series in India are still speculative. This information is eagerly awaited and will be revealed during the show.

With the expected specifications and features, the Redmi Note 13 series is all set to make a big impact in the market, especially after getting BIS certification and launching in India.
