Nothing Confirms When It Will Launch Its First Smartwatch

In early August, Carl Pay announced that Nothing would launch a sub-brand called CMF by Nothing. Unlike Nothing, this sub-brand is focused on affordability, so don't expect a flagship device like the Nothing Phone 2.
Vice President and CEO of Nothing India Manu Sharma announced on X (formerly Twitter) that CMF at Nothing will host a launch event on September 26, 2023. Apart from the date, Sharma did not reveal anything else about the event. The Vice President of India who made the announcement did not give any indication that the show would be held in India or that the announced products might be exclusive to the region.
While Sharma didn't reveal what the talk will be about, we already have a good idea of what will be discussed. Towards the end of August, a major leak resulted in banner ads for three CMF products: the Watch Pro, Buds Pro, and the 65W GAN charger.
Specifically, the Watch Pro will be Nothing's first smartwatch. According to the leak, the Watch Pro has rounded edges like the Apple Watch, an aluminum alloy body and an orange band. Another leak revealed that the display could be a 1.96-inch AMOLED with Always On Display (AOD) support, 600 nits brightness and a 50Hz refresh rate. Other leaked specs include built-in GPS with Bluetooth 5.3, IP68 water and dust resistance, a 330mAh battery, and a host of health sensors. What's interesting, however, is that the Watch Pro doesn't run on Wear OS.
Additionally, we expect these devices to be priced at Rs 4,500, Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,000 for the Watch Pro, Buds Pro and charger respectively. In US dollars, they will be $55 (Watch Pro), $43 (Buds Pro) and $37 (Charger).
