Apple And Android Users Paused Pornhub To Watch The IPhone 15 Announcement

Another year, another event for Apple. Just like last year, Apple managed to get some people off PornHub - at least for a while.

The tube site monitors the logs to see how much traffic decreased yesterday compared to today's average. Pornhub told Mashable that traffic dropped slightly during the day, and that's probably a sign that people are getting ready for Apple's holidays (or maybe they're just not that interested in adult content).

At the start of the incident, PornHub traffic was down 7.9 percent on Apple devices and about 4 percent on non-Apple devices (and 95 percent on Android devices, according to the site).

Apple and non-Apple viewers were primarily drawn to Apple Watch ads, with page views for Apple Watch ads falling 11.6% and Apple Watch ads down 6%. The double tap caught people's interest, but the carefully crafted Local Targets section made many people lose interest - PornHub's traffic increased slightly during that time.

But it didn't last long, when Apple users returned to the event with the launch of the iPhone 15; Pornhub dropped 11.4 percent of page views on this ad. Not surprisingly, Android users showed little interest in iPhone messaging, with traffic falling to less than 4 percent.

Then Apple Pro did not get the same attention for the camera and other features. When the event was over, people returned to PornHub in the afternoon (if you were on the West Coast where the event was).
