Y20 Summit Commences
The G-20-Y20 meeting, organized by the Department of Youth Affairs of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, began on Thursday with a visit to the Supercomputing Center and Precision Engineering Center of the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). . Y20 delegates got a glimpse of how this technology can achieve its goal of transforming more applications, research offices and critical missions. The faculty of IIT (BHU) revealed that the Supercomputing Center has demonstrated outstanding research and development in science and technology in the country.
This was followed by sessions and presentations organized by the Rudraksh Center for International Cooperation and Conferences (RICCC) at IIT (BHU). The presentation began with an overview of the ever-evolving IIT Institute (BHU) and its important role in technical education in empowering India. IIT (BHU) sessions focus on current research, employment, innovation, innovation and startup culture. As part of the programme, the talented students of IT (BHU) presented a cultural show filled with music and classical dances like Garba, Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Bhangra.
Later in the evening, the delegates and participants were transported to Sarnath and were introduced to the culture of Varanasi. Their journey to Sarnath helped them to immerse themselves in the cultural aura of one of the world's major centers of Buddhist pilgrimage. In Sarnath, the delegation visited the Archaeological Museum, which displays Buddhist cultural artefacts found at the site of Lord Buddha's 'First Sermon' at the Mirgadayavan Deer Park in Sarnath. The delegation visited the Sarnath Museum, an invaluable collection of Buddhist cultural treasures. The first day of the Y20 summit ended with a fascinating performance "Light and Sound" about the profound life path of Gautama Buddha.
As part of the presidency of the G20, the Department of Youth Affairs of the Union Ministry of Youth and Sports will organize the "Youth Twenty-2023" summit, which will be held in the city on August 17-20. The Y20 Summit brings together leading experts, decision-makers, national and international representatives/representatives from G20 countries, host countries and international organizations to negotiate, finalize and sign the Y20 Communication based on various discussions and debates. Several months. This Y20 Manifesto outlines the content of our shared vision for the five identified Y20 themes and empowers decision-makers at the highest political level for inclusive global youth development to ensure that young people's voices are heard.
