Redmi A2 Plus With 128GB Storage Launched In India; 64GB Model Gets Rs 500 Price Cut
Xiaomi has launched a new 128GB entry-level variant of the Redmi A2 Plus in the Indian market. Redmi A2 Plus is now available in two configurations: 4/64GB and 4/128GB. Interestingly, Xiaomi launched the 128GB model at the same price as the 64GB model, but the price of the 64GB model has dropped by 500 rupees. This means that the Redmi A2 Plus 4GB/64GB configuration is currently priced at Rs 7,499. The 128GB model is available for Rs 8,999.
The Redmi A2 Plus was launched in India in May 2023 alongside the cheaper Redmi A2. The two phones are successors to last year's Redmi A1 Plus and Redmi A1. It is an entry-level smartphone specially designed for those who want to leave their traditional mobile phone for the first time. Attractive design and technical characteristics led to the fact that the main advantage was the low price. In comparison, the Redmi A2 starts at Rs 6,499 (although the price starts at Rs 5,999).

The Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus are identical phones. The only difference is that the Plus model comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. Another real difference is the extra storage space you can get.
Speaking of specs, the Redmi A2 Plus sports a 6.52-inch 720p display with a waterdrop notch. Inside is a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset with up to 4GB of RAM and now up to 128GB of internal storage. Measurable. Everything is controlled via the Android 13 Go software.

For photography, the phone has a dual camera setup with an 8MP primary sensor on the back and another 5MP camera on the front for selfies.
Rounding out the package is a 5000mAh battery with 10W micro USB charging capability. The phone is rated for 32 days of standby and up to 32 hours of video playback on a single charge. You also get basic splash protection with this phone.
