Tecno Officially Teases The Launch Of Its Nothing Phone (2) Lookalike

Last week, Tecno confirmed the launch of its upcoming Pova 5 Pro smartphone in India via its official Amazon landing page. The highlight of the Pova 5 Pro is a subtle nod to the recently released Nothing Phone (2) in the form of rear-mounted LEDs. Now the company has teased its design. Find out more below.
Techno has posted an official video on Twitter confirming the previously known Arc interface on the Pova 5 Pro with RGB lighting. As you can see in the official video, RGB LED lighting will be limited to the top of the phone, near the camera bumps. There will be three different LED strips converging to one point. This will be useful thanks to different animations that will flash depending on certain features such as calls and notifications.
However, the smartphone will not fully replicate the Nothing Phone (2) or the aggressively designed Infinix GT 10 Pro. Backlighting adds an element of sophistication to a device without obscuring its core personality. Unlike the Glyph of Nothing Phone interface (2), the Arc interface does not appear to be functionally different. It can flash when charging, flash when receiving a call or notification, flash when playing games, etc. We'll have to wait for the official launch to see what these LED strips actually are.
So far, all that is known is that the Tecno Pova 5 Pro may come with a 7,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Tecno is also expected to launch a Vanilla Pova 5 device without the Arc interface. It is expected to feature Turbo Mecca design language with 6.7 inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It could be 50MP main camera with 8MP front facing camera. Other features may include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for reverse wireless charging.
Since Tecno has officially confirmed the release of the Pova 5 series, it seems that the launch is just around the corner. We don't have an official launch date yet. Stay tuned as we bring you the latest updates on the upcoming Tecno series. In the meantime, comment your thoughts on Arc's interface below.
