What do you think of the "Latino explosion" in Europe? Do you think that's a good thing? Do you think there should be more education about the origins of Latin American genres outside of the United States?

I find it beautiful and touching to see someone who seems so different enjoying something so close to me. Honestly, it wouldn't hurt to introduce and educate people with a little bit of a Latin American flavor and attitude to life. When I'm in Peru with my family, there's always music playing and it's very happy and festive. Everyone steams and enjoys each other's company as they sing and dance together. It's about life, celebrating each other and embracing the time we have together now.

What is it like to have such a global hub underground in Miami now?

It's rare and very nice too. I'm like many of my colleagues and I've been at this for a while, so it reflects the work we do. It's great that people are interested in what's going on here. It's definitely a good bag and I remind myself that this is just the beginning of something we can grow together. It takes dedicated people, an ongoing appreciation for music, and time to build a lasting community, and since Miami is a relatively new city, we're on our way to something special.

What do you expect listeners to hear from Touch? How would you like to feel?

As always, I like to try to achieve sexual and sensual feelings in one way or another... but this time I came to the project with a hypnotic and danceable feeling. I try to show different styles and variations in each of my projects.

The album was the first for Local Action's new sister label Clasico. What was it like releasing an EP with the band that created the album?

I can't thank Eleanor and Tom enough. It was so easy to get together and I'm so honored to have been approached so early in his label career. Their dynamism and enthusiasm was very motivating and it was very satisfying to continue to have so much support for the release, because I am very happy with the sound.

What is your biggest musical philosophy?

Sharing music and always looking for ways to bring people together. When I play live I like to talk about the audience first and not so much about myself. I always have fun and it's fun to share music.

What's next for you?

I'm lucky enough to have my hands more or less full. I have to make sure I take time to look after my well-being because I have a few different DJ mixes lined up for the next edition, collaborative projects in the works, solo projects and some fun mixes. . Also travel a lot. I'm making my European debut in a few months.

Can you tell us a little more about this mix?

For this mix I played some beautiful music that I have been listening to in my spare time lately. In fact, I came across quite a few unpublished titles. I usually listen to them when I'm stuck in traffic because they calm me down and make me feel good.
