Oppo Reno 10 Pro, Reno 10 Pro+ Global Variants Spotted On Geekbench With Snapdragon SoCs

Oppo may soon launch the Oppo Reno 10 series in markets outside of China. While the company is yet to make an official announcement, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ have appeared in test site listings that suggest the global and Indian variants of the phones may be powered by the Snapdragon SoC. It appears to have 12GB of RAM. The Oppo Reno 10 series was launched in China last month. The Chinese version of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The Indian variant of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro may run on a different processor.

Recently, two Oppo phones with model numbers CPH2525 and CPH2521 were spotted on Geekbench. CPH2525 is believed to be related to Oppo Reno 10 Pro while CPH2521 is believed to be related to Oppo Reno 10 Pro+. The listings say it might run on Android 13.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro scores 2739 points in single-core tests and 1013 points in multi-core tests. According to the listing, the phone could get 11.04GB of RAM, which implies 12GB of storage. In addition, it is reported that the phone will be equipped with an octa-core chip. It has four main CPU cores with a maximum speed of 2.40 GHz and four cores with a maximum speed of 1.80 GHz. These CPU frequencies appear to be the same as the Snapdragon 778G SoC with the same motherboard codename. "Lahaina".

On the other hand, Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ scored 1723 points in single-core tests and 4241 points in multi-core tests. From the listing, it appears that the Indian variant of the phone will have 10.96GB of RAM, which can be upgraded to 12GB. It includes a chipset named "Tarot" to power the phone. It has two main CPU cores with a maximum clock speed of 3.0 GHz, three cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.50 GHz and four cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.80 GHz. All this points to the presence of Snapdragon 8th Gen 1 SoC in Oppo Reno 10 Pro+.

The Chinese version of Oppo Reno 10 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is under the hood.

The Oppo Reno 10 series was launched in China in May with a starting price of 3,499 yuan (roughly Rs. 41,000) for the Oppo Reno 10 Pro. The price of Oppo Reno 10 Pro + 5G starts at 3,899 yuan (roughly Rs. 45,000). The company is yet to announce pricing and other details about the Reno 10 Pro series in other markets, including India.
