How To Easily Share Your WiFi Password Using IOS And Android Devices
In 2023, the first thing your house guests will want is access to your wireless network.
Now, if you protect your Wi-Fi with a strong password, random upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters, it can be awkward to read when asked.
On the other hand, if your password is simple, say, "Oh, it's just my phone number," you'll have no problem sharing your Wi-Fi with invited guests or anyone who wants to. Enter your network. If so, change your Wi-Fi password.

How to Share Wi-Fi Passwords on Apple Devices
As long as you have the latest operating system, your Apple devices work well with each other, and it's easy to share your Wi-Fi password with other Apple devices using your iPhone.
Note: Your guests must have the email address associated with their Apple ID saved in their contacts, and you must save their email address. Addresses in your contacts to share Wi-Fi passwords.
Make sure both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on . Keep devices close together while connected, 10 feet or more apart and close enough to your router to get a strong signal.
Connect your device to the Wi-Fi network you want to share with You may already be connected to your primary home network But if your visitors use a guest network, you need to connect your devices to that network. (Inviting visitors is a great idea for guest networking - here's how.)
Let guests find your network on their devices. They need to go to Settings > Wi-Fi and tap Network. Pro tip: If you have a funny or clever Wi-Fi name, it's a win-win
Receive orders on your phone. A message will appear on your iPhone asking if you want to share your password. Tap the Share Password button to accept it, then Done . Your guest machine is now connected to your network.
If the visitor has an Android device, or if their iPhone isn't in your contacts, there's an alternative method: you can generate a QR code.
Open the app and go to the accessibility shortcut . Scroll to and tap WiFi QR , then tap Add Shortcut . Next, go to My Shortcuts and tap on WiFi QR Enter your Wi-Fi name followed by password and click Done . The app will generate a QR code for your guests to scan on their devices.
If you're hosting a large group of people and don't want to pull out your phone every time someone tries to access your Wi-Fi, print the QR code and put it where it can be seen. Your guests will be able to search and connect at their convenience.
How to Share Wi-Fi Password on Android Device
Android and Apple devices cannot be connected at the same time, but you can still share Wi-Fi passwords with Android devices using QR codes.
To generate a Wi-Fi QR code on your Android device:
Go to Settings , then tap Connections (or Network , depending on your specific device).
Click on Wi-Fi and make sure you are connected to the correct network.
Click the Settings cog to the right of the network name.
Click on the QR code at the bottom left of your screen.
Share or save photos.
If you are sharing between Android devices, you can also use the Quick Share feature Follow the first three steps above, then click Quick Share . Your device will search for compatible devices nearby. Make sure your guests are able to quickly share their phones. Tap their device name to share your Wi-Fi password.
From the Quick Share screen, you can also create a link or QR code to share your Wi-Fi password with others.
