On May 12, 13 & 14, 2023, Techno India Salt Lake will host the annual Techno Management Festival EDGE'23. It is held by the official Geekonix science and technology club. The theme of the 17th year festival is 'Origins' and takes place in different areas of Techno India's main campus.

“I am very happy to be able to communicate with brilliant minds of this generation because I have organized this festival for many years. It creates a coalition of young intellectuals and a platform to generate more new ideas by creating inter-campus spaces,” said Professor Dibyendu Banerjee, lecturer and co-organizer of Edugraph's Geekonix.

More than 500 participants registered for the three-day inter-university festival, which included about 40 events. Eleven campus sub-clubs work together to organize a variety of activities based on the club's area of ​​interest.

EDGE'23 focuses on discovery in events such as Robo Soccer-Robo War, where participants must overcome a series of challenging obstacles with the help of remote sensing robots. The kits were made by members of the Robopalz robotics club from waste collected on campus.

The festival also hosts innovative gaming events such as Valorant and FIFA hosted by the Cyber ​​Crusade Gaming Club. Attendees praised the infrastructure of the event, which enhanced the overall gaming experience. Day 1 concludes with qualifiers for the first round of all competitive EDGE events and parties. Comedians Apurv Gupta and Abhijit Ganguly put in a hilarious performance which made the audience laugh.

On the second day, the semi-finals were held and a photo exhibition organized by the Infocus photo club opened. “EDGE seeks to convey the universal message that photography is about exploration and awareness of the environment. Such contests create a sense of harmony among the students and we want to highlight the point of view of expert photographers of Kolkata where we can collect all these. Focus on media research and consultancy. The second day concludes with Bengali rock music from 90s to present day. There is also a digital food story of Mr. Siddhartha Sankar Roy alias Shidhu of Cactus and Mr. Indrajit Lahiri alias the founder of FoodKa.

The festival concludes on the third day with the finale of all events. The winners were congratulated during the awards ceremony, which took place in the evening and closed this year's edition of EDGE'23.
